Albert
Rizzo, Esq. GLC Partners provides its services and
consultation under the guidance and management of Albert
Rizzo. Mr. Rizzo received his Bachelor of Arts degree from
Fordham University in 1984 and his Juris Doctorate from
Fordham University School of Law in 1987. He is an
experienced practicing attorney in New York and is a member
of the American Trial Lawyers Association, the New York
State Bar Association and the Association of the Bar of the
City of New York, where he has lectured for, and served on,
the Lawyers in Transition Committee. He is also a qualified
member of the New York City Bar Association’s Legal Referral
Business and Corporations Panel, the Employment and Labor
Panel and Real Estate Panel. He has been a featured
columnist of the Outside Counsel column of the New York Law
Journal and has appeared on television discussing issues of
sexual harassment in the workplace. Mr. Rizzo is admitted to
practice before the Supreme Court of the United States and
the Federal and State courts of New York.
Prior to establishing his own law practice in 1996, Mr.
Rizzo was an attorney at a small Wall Street firm for nine
years where he gained extensive training and experience in
the areas of corporate and securities transactions and
commercial litigation. His experience enabled him to develop
the skills necessary to represent a diverse clientele
accustomed to a sophisticated legal practice and the Wall
Street tradition of quality legal representation.
While he still maintains his law practice for select
clients, Mr. Rizzo established GLC Partners to render legal
services and assistance in a non-traditional way to small
and mid-size businesses doing business in New York. Too many
of his clients required quality legal representation, but
could not afford the premium that most clients pay for such
representation. He therefore developed a strategy for
resolving and addressing general, day-to-day legal problems
and issues with “an ounce of prevention” so that he could
provide quality representation on a flat fee basis that was
affordable to his clients. This has become the focus of GLC
Partners.
